An advisor for every leader that knows the business and knows them.

CognateOS turns your company's data room into a live operating view, scores the business across eight domains, and gives each leader a private page with an Advisor that coaches them through the week.

16 questions, about four minutes. Your score appears on screen.

What it reads

Four sources of truth, one engine, one Advisor per leader.

Most AI tools know a little about the person typing. CognateOS knows the company's numbers, where the business is exposed, and how each leader on the team works best, and it uses all of it every time a leader asks.

Company data room

P&Ls, KPIs, the org chart, lender and board documents, meeting notes. Fenced by seat.

BAIC scoring

The business scored across eight domains from its own evidence, with every exposure ranked by what it will cost.

LDNA for every leader

A seven-dimension behavioural profile. The team sees styles; only the leader sees the detail.

Each leader's week

Outcomes, daily outputs and the OneDay Code practice, kept on their own page.

CognateThe coaching engine. Keeps no conversations. Passes a release evaluation before every version ships.

Company view

What is on fire, who owns it, and the move that pays.

A private page per leader

Their seat, their KPIs, their 90-day items and their day.

The Advisor

Weekly reviews, meeting prep, decisions and hard conversations.

How it works

From documents in a folder to an advisor in every seat.

  1. 1

    Open the data room

A company room everyone's work draws on, and a separate room for the senior team's finance, lender and succession files.

  2. 2

    BAIC scores the business

Eight domains scored from the evidence, the same way every time. You get a ranked register of exposures and a 90-day plan with owners.

  3. 3

    Every leader takes LDNA

About ten minutes each. It produces a team report of working styles and a private, detailed profile for each leader.

  4. 4

    Leaders start working with it

Each leader gets a private page and the Advisor. Their 90-day items flow into their week, and their week into each day.

You won't set it up alone. An advisor from our team works alongside you through the first runs, setting up the rooms and catching the nuances a first scoring can miss.

The product

One system, three views, from the company down to each leader's day.

The company view

It opens on one question: what is on fire, and what do I do in the next five minutes?

  • Exposures ranked by what they will cost, each with a named owner.
  • Every KPI shows its source and how fresh it is, so stale numbers stand out.
  • Re-scored each quarter from the data room, so progress is measured, not claimed.

A private page for every leader

Only the leader sees it. It joins the company's priorities to their own week and day.

  • Their seat: responsibilities, KPIs and the BAIC items they own that score lowest.
  • This week: three outcomes, each with a measure, the lead action and the time block.
  • Today: the OneDay Code, with four outputs, short resets and a two-minute close.

An Advisor that knows how each leader is wired

Every leader takes LDNA. The team sees each other's working styles and how to work together; the detail stays with each leader.

  • Weekly reviews, meeting prep and debriefs, decisions and rehearsing a hard conversation.
  • It coaches to the leader's style and the role's demands, and says where the advice came from.
  • For development only. It is never used to evaluate, hire, promote or set pay.

Trust

Built for development, never for evaluation.

An advisor only works if leaders are honest with it. Every part of CognateOS is designed so they can be.

Conversations stay private

A leader's conversations with the Advisor are theirs. Nobody else sees them, the CEO included, and the Cognate engine keeps no conversations at all.

No scoring of people

LDNA is used only for coaching. It never feeds hiring, promotion, performance or pay decisions, and BAIC never uses psychometrics.

Every release is tested

Each engine version must pass every guardrail and crisis case, 90% agreement and an average of 4 out of 5 before it ships.

Questions

What leadership teams ask first.

Who is CognateOS for?

Growing companies with a real leadership team: a CEO and the leaders who run finance, operations, sales and people. It fits best when the business has outgrown the founder holding everything, and leaders need to act on the same picture between meetings.

Does it replace our coach, consultant or board?

No. It works in the time between those conversations, when most decisions actually get made. A leader can prep for a board meeting with it, debrief afterwards, and keep the follow-through moving during the week.

What does setting it up involve?

You load the documents into the data room, each leader takes the LDNA, and the business is scored. An advisor from our team works with you through the first runs, setting up the rooms and checking the first scoring with you.

Where does our data go?

Your documents stay in your rooms and are fenced by seat. The Cognate engine reads what a question needs, answers, and keeps no conversation. It records only usage counts for billing.

Can we use it to evaluate people?

No, by design. CognateOS is for development. LDNA results and Advisor conversations are never used for hiring, promotion, performance or pay decisions.

How is it priced?

Per company, by the number of leaders on it, with setup included. Book a demo and we'll give you a quote for your team.
